2008 (age 2) Avid thirst for music, begins playing violin.

2009-2011 (ages 3 to 5) Rapidly expands his learning in music.

2012 (age 6) Begins composing his first pieces and studying piano under the mentorship of Rosa María Torner from the Mexican Music Conservatory (2012 to date). Begins to play the piano on a daily basis with a 110-year-old Steinway & Sons concert piano.

2013 (age 7) Continues composing. Begins attending weekly concerts at the prestigious Netzahualcoyotl Concert Hall in Mexico City which seats an audience of over 2,200, with backstage passes to meet with musicians (2013-2020) (40 concerts per year).

2014-2016 (ages 8 to 10) Composes, takes classes and attends concerts.

2017 (age 11) Continues composing. Begins piano classes with Margarita de la Mora (Juilliard School of Music) (2017-2020).

2018 (age 12) Continues composing, summing more than sixty works. Begins violin classes with Damiana Orué from the Royal Academy of Music (2018 to date).

2019 (age 13) Debut at Carnegie Hall playing his own compositions. Composes his first full length symphony. Wins international awards at the: American Protégé International Talent Competition at Carnegie Hall; International Music Competition Vienna Grand Prize Virtuoso 2019; and the Vienna New Year’s Concert International Music Competition Piano Category. Becomes a member of the Mexican Philharmonic OFUNAM & the New York Philharmonic NYPhil Friends Program.

2020 (age 14) Launches first “Rodrigo Landa-Romero International Composition Competition”, highly acclaimed. Publishes six albums and a single. Composes his first soundtrack for a 50-minute wildlife documentary. Continues winning international awards at the: International Music Competition Grand Prize Virtuoso Paris 2020 (First Prize); International Music Competition Grand Prize Virtuoso London 2020 (First Prize); International Anton Rubinstein Competition; American Protégé International Piano & Strings Competition 2020 at Carnegie Hall; and the 10th International Piano Competition 2020 at Milan, Italy. Begins piano classes with Raúl de la Mora (Juilliard) (2020 to date). Release of an 18-minute-documentary on Rodrigo “The Making of a Prodigy’s Violin Concerto”.

2021 (age 15) Launches second “Rodrigo Landa-Romero International Composition Competition” with participants from over 40 countries. Invited to perform again at Carnegie Hall his own compositions. Continues publishing albums. Concludes the Classical Works Program (awarded Certificate with "A" average) at Harvard University's School of Music, with Thomas Forrest Kelly. First Prize Winner of the International Music Competition Grand Prize Virtuoso 2021 Bonn, Germany. Winner of the Gaviota International Award, Mexico. Finalist at the International Composition and Classical Music Competition of the Vienna Classical Music Academy v.c.m.a., August 2021. Founder of Rodrigo Landa-Romero Productions. Founder of Rodrigo Landa-Romero International Film & Music Academy. Director and producer of a two-hour motion picture, release Spring 2023. Named one of the World's Top 100 Child Prodigies 2022, Global Child Prodigy Awards, Dubai.

2022 (age 16) Three time Global Music Award winner. Working on all phases of his two hour motion picture about the making of one of the most challenging piano concertos ever, this involves: directing, producting, script writing, acting, filming, lighting, special effects, editing and other activities. Plays his own compositions at Carnegie Hall for the second time, May 2022. Member of the Royal Philharmonic Society, UK. Continues winning music awards. On tour through Europe: Paris & Belgium.
